Blues Standards
Achievement of a Blues Standards standard means almost certain selection for the Blues (first) team. Full Blues are awarded to athletes who obtain the Blues Standard and represent the University in the Blues team at the Varsity Match. The Blues Standard must be achieved in competition during the same academic year as the athlete competes in the Blues team. Athletes who achieve a Full Blue are entitled to wear a Blues blazer.

The Half Blue Standards show levels of performance expected as a minimum requirement to be in contention for selection to the Blues team. Athletes who represent the University in the Blues team at the Varsity Match and do not meet the Blues Standard will receive a Half Blue if they have met the Half Blue standard. The Half Blue Standard must be achieved in competition during the same academic year as the athletes competes in the Blues team.

The Cuppers Standards are those which, if performed in the Inter-Collegiate Competition, will gain the competitor's College an extra point, over and above that determined by the position at the finish.
